It is important to finish this work before flowering so that moniliasis spores do not get into the flowers. If you did not do it in time, then collect such fruits after flowering and immediately treat the plants with a solution of the drug Horus (2-4 g per 10 liters of water).
Also, after flowering, make a sanitary pruning. That is, remove all dry, broken, with mushrooms or large wound branches. Sanitary pruning can be done at any time.
Pay attention to the branches that intersect with each other, grind the bark. They also need to be removed.
All trimmings should be burned, sent to compost is risky, and left for cooking barbecue or just in case – while they lie, they scatter fungal spores throughout your garden.
It is also necessary to collect fallen leaves under trees or dig them, laying in the ground. Beneficial insects have already come out of the leaves, and only lazy pests and spores of various diseases remain there.
