Sunday’s release of the project showed a record share among Ukrainian travel shows in the history of TV viewing. The share of the second issue with an audience of 18-54 (50+) was 21.7%, the rating was 2.7%. Reaching an audience of 4+ (Ukr) was 1.6 million viewers.

In addition, on May 23, 1 + 1 took first place among Ukrainian TV channels with a share of 10.2% in the audience of 18-54 (50+).
It will be recalled that in the new project “Travel Ukraine with Dmytro Komarov”, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence, the presenter for the first time explores not distant and exotic countries, but his native Ukraine. The presenter tells where and how to relax this summer, opens new tourist destinations, and shows already known tourist locations from a new angle.
On Sunday, May 23, in the issue “Travel Ukraine with Dmitry Komarov” the host explored unusual places on the Black Sea coast. The team went to Vilkovo – a floating city near Odessa. It is a city of winemakers, canals, boats, and fishermen, located on 72 man-made islands. The TV presenter spoke about the peculiarities of local traditions. Together with the locals, Dmitry Komarov went fishing and showed what kind of catch can be caught in the waters of the local “Amazon”.
Viewers of “Travel Ukraine with Dmitry Komarov” were able to see the unique Snake Island, which is a military facility but has great tourist potential. The TV presenter was given an exclusive opportunity to fly over the southern border of Ukraine together with representatives of the state border service on a special transport – MI-8 helicopter.
The project team also visited a unique place – the country’s first oyster farm, where they saw with their own eyes the conditions under which one of the main delicacies in the world is grown – oysters.
