Tomatoes harvested from the garden are much more fragrant and tasty than those sold in stores and markets. Thus work in a garden demands a lot of forces and time. However, there is a lazy way to grow these vegetables – in the “trench”.

How to grow many tomatoes in the “trench”
In warm, especially hot weather when caring for tomatoes, they need frequent watering and loosening. The proposed method will help to avoid such stress.
To do this, dig a deep and long trench. If the soil in the garden is soft, you do not need a shovel, just use a hoe. The excavated land should be placed next to the mound.
Holes must be made in the trench. At the bottom of each put a five-centimeter layer of compost, abundantly water it, and place the seedlings there. It will be almost invisible from above. Then the grass mown on the lawn should be laid in a thick layer between the rows.
It is desirable to water the tomatoes no earlier than seven to ten days after they are planted in this way. Due to this, their roots will be strengthened, because in search of moisture will go deep. When the tops emerge from the “trench”, the bushes need to be turned up like potatoes. At the same time, rake the ground lying on the mound to the stems. And the seedlings will be on a small rise.
In the trenches that are formed, it is also necessary to lay a thick layer of cut grass. This mulch will perfectly retain moisture and will not allow weeds to grow, and it will rot, nourishing the soil and tomatoes with vital substances for growth and fruiting.
No special effort or time is required for all this. And you do not have to spend money on fertilizers. This lazy way will help you grow a lot of delicious tomatoes.
