Samsung’s patent documentation has appeared on the Internet, shedding light on the possible design of the South Korean giant’s new smart TVs. Observers believe that the panels will be announced in the second half of this year.

According to the resource LetsGoDigital, images of devices appeared in the database of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). The patent documentation contains a description of two models of Samsung’s smart TV.
One of the novelties has a design with a stand for the entire width of the body. This interior model will have a built-in soundbar and a set of ports on the side.
The second TV is distinguished by the presence of an ultra-widescreen display. The novelty is perfect for group viewing of movies and sports matches.
Observers believe that the TVs with the proposed design may debut next quarter. Obviously, the resolution of the devices will be 4K – 3840 × 2160 pixels. 8K (7680 × 4320 pixels) models can also be announced.
Unfortunately, there is no information about the diagonals of the panels and their approximate cost at the moment.
