From June 6, only spectators who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 will be allowed to attend public events in the United Arab Emirates.

According to Farida Al Hosani, a spokeswoman for the UAE health sector, these are sports, cultural, social events, and art exhibitions.
She noted that the participants will also take PCR tests, the shelf life of which will be 48 hours (before the event). Only those who have an active E mark in the Al Hosn app will be able to attend any event.
All participants, including organizers and guests, will be required to wear masks and adhere to social distance.
On May 17, restaurants, cafes, and shopping malls in Dubai were allowed to resume entertainment and other activities at their venues (for a period of 1 month) subject to precautionary measures and only with artists who have been fully vaccinated against coronavirus.
The period of validity of permits can be extended based on the results of the test period. All entertainment venues can increase the occupancy of the premises up to 70%, hotels – up to 100%. The rules of constant wearing of masks and social distance are preserved for all participants of the events.
Permits are issued for sporting and social events, including awards ceremonies and gala dinners, as well as concerts, for the specified test period. All participants, including organizers and spectators, must be vaccinated, russianemirates.com reports.
The maximum number of guests on indoor sites should not exceed 1500, on outdoor – 2500. The sites are allowed to fill no more than 70%. For weddings in banquet halls and hotels it is allowed to gather no more than 100 guests (subject to vaccination), in houses – no more than 30 (guests must be in masks and adhere to the social distance).
In restaurants, up to 10 people are allowed to sit at one table, in cafes – up to six. Restaurants have also received permission to restore brunches. Moreover, bars were opened for guests vaccinated against COVID-19 after quarantine.
