Martin Island is located near Allapul opposite an ancient Viking fort and has several beaches, a small museum, and a hill with fantastic views.
Both singles and couples are invited for an interview. The volunteer supervisor will be the first permanent resident of Martini in the last 30 years. The island is environmentally friendly, without plastic.
He is currently supported by a volunteer organization. Foundation director Becky Thomson told reporters that they were demanding a candidate.
“It’s a bit of a farm. They need to maintain three houses on the island, prepare them for tourists, clean public toilets, greet visitors and make sure they comply with quarantine restrictions, ”the woman said.
The work will take about 3 hours a day. In return, the caretaker gets the opportunity to live on a small paradise island in a rented apartment, earn £ 150 a week and enjoy all that the island has to offer.
The nearest mainland is 1.6 km from the island. The area of the island is only 400 acres. There is no hot water, but there is a small solar-powered electric device that can be used to charge gadgets or flashlights.
The supervisor must be resourceful and probably very practical. He must be able to drive a motorboat because this is the only transport that can reach the mainland.
The application deadline is 22:00 local time on June 1.
