Ukraine ranked first in the world, as the largest consumer of tourism services in Egypt. This came through the statements of the Egyptian Minister of Tourism, Khaled El-Anany, during his meeting with the Ukrainian Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt Yevvn Mikitenko on June 1, 2021, in order to strengthen the frameworks of tourism cooperation between the two countries.

The minister said that Ukraine is the largest consumer of tourist services provided in Egyptian resorts for the second year in a row.
Al-Anani expressed his gratitude to the leadership of the Ukrainian state, which seeks to enhance the tourist flow to Egypt, stressing that Egypt provides all tourism services to Ukrainian tourists.
According to the ministry, in January-May of this year, 715,000 Ukrainians spent their vacations in Egypt.
The two parties discussed the substantive issues and problems that Ukrainian citizens face from time to time during their visit to Egypt, as well as the increase in services provided in the Ukrainian language, including the addition of more Ukrainian TV channels in hotels and the introduction of the Ukrainian language mobile phone applications in tourist sites and others.
