A BMW car knocked down a 42-year-old woman on Lev Landau Avenue in Kharkiv.
A woman was crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing at about 5:50 p.m. on November 11, when she was hit by a BMW X3 driven by a 63-year-old driver.
The pedestrian received non-life-threatening injuries, according to the regional police communication department.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident. Criminal proceedings were instituted under Part 2 of Art. 286 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (violation of rules of safety of road traffic or operation of transport by persons).
The article provides for a sentence of three to eight years in prison.
