On November 1, 2021, new road signs will be introduced in Ukraine. Then new safety standards will come into force in the part “Road safety. Road signs”.

In particular, the signs “Gas stations / Electric charging stations”, signs “Place for charging electric cars”, “Toll road” and “End of toll road” will be introduced. The main changes and clarifications will be made in DSTU 4100: 2021.
DSTU was also supplemented with signs on the border strip in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution of November 9, 2016, №790 and graphic materials to avoid ambiguous interpretation of the principle of installation and application of several road signs on one support.
In addition, a new section has been added, indicating how to place signs on billboards and background shields, and a separate road sign has been introduced to mark diagonal pedestrian crossings at intersections.
The standards have been supplemented with new signs and plates related to cycling infrastructure.
Also changes concern signs of individual designing – fonts, forms of arrows, symbols for designation of the center of the settlement, the river are entered.
