The results of the external independent evaluation of the history of Ukraine are determined in two stages. At the first stage, the test score of the participant of the external evaluation is determined (maximum – 94 points). At the second stage, on the basis of the test score, the rating of the results of the participant of the external evaluation is determined on a 200-point scale, which is used in compiling the rating list of applicants for admission to universities in Ukraine.

Also, the results of the EIT in the history of Ukraine at the request of the test participant can be translated into an assessment on a scale of 1-12 points for crediting the results of the EIT as a state final certification.
The state’s final attestation on the history of Ukraine includes the performance of tasks №1–30 (maximum 47 points for the tasks of the STA).
HOW THE TEST SCORE IS CALCULATED
Tasks with the choice of one correct answer. The task consists of a basis and four answer options, of which only one is correct. The task is considered completed if the participant of the external independent evaluation has selected and marked the answer in answer sheet A.
The test contains 46 tasks of this form (№1–23, 31–53), which will be evaluated in 0 or 1 point: 1 point if the correct answer is given; 0 points if an incorrect answer is given, or more than one answer is given, or the answer to the task is not provided.
Matching task (“logical pairs”). The task consists of a base and two columns of information marked with numbers (left) and letters (right). Execution of the task involves establishing a correspondence (the formation of “logical pairs”) between the information indicated by numbers and letters. The task is considered completed if the participant of the external independent evaluation has established compliance and made marks at the intersections of rows (numbers from 1 to 4) and columns (letters from A to D) in the table of answer sheet A.
The test contains 6 tasks of this form (№24–26, 54–56), which will be evaluated in 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4 points: 1 point – for each correctly established correspondence (“logical pair”); 0 points for any “logical pair” if more than one mark is made in a row and/or column; 0 points for the task, if no correct match is specified (“logical pair”), or the answer to the task is not provided.
The task of establishing the correct sequence. The task consists of a basis and a list of events (phenomena, facts, processes, etc.), marked with letters that must be arranged in the correct sequence, where the first event must correspond to the number 1, the second – the number 2, the third – the number 3, the fourth – the number 4. The task is considered fulfilled if the participant of the External Evaluation made marks at the intersections of rows (numbers from 1 to 4) and columns (letters from A to D) in the table of the answer sheet A.
The test contains 4 tasks of this form (№27–28, 57–58), each of which is evaluated in 0, 1, 2, or 3 points: 3 points, if the sequence of all events is specified correctly; 2 points if the first and last events are indicated; 1 point, if either the first or last event is specified; 0 points – for any correctly specified event, if more than one mark is made in a row and/or column; 0 points for the task, if the first and last event is incorrectly specified or the answer to the task is not provided.
Tasks with a choice of three correct answers from seven suggested answer options. The task consists of a base and seven answer options, marked with numbers, of which only three are correct. The task is considered completed if the participant of the external independent evaluation has selected and recorded three answers (numbers) in answer sheet A.
The test contains 4 tasks of this form (№29–30, 59–60). Each task is evaluated in 0, 1, 2, or 3 points: 1 point – for each correctly specified answer (figure) of the three possible; 0 points if no correct answer (numbers) is given, or one answer (number) is given three times, or the answer to the task is not provided. The order in which the numbers are written does not matter.
The maximum number of points that a test participant can score for performing the tasks of the state final attestation is equal to 47 test points. The maximum number of points that a test participant can score by correctly completing all test tasks in the history of Ukraine is 94.
HOW THE RATING SCORE IS CALCULATED
To obtain the results of the participant of the external evaluation on a 200-point scale, the Table of translation of test points into a rating scale from 100 to 200 points is used.
The table of translation of test scores into a rating scale from 100 to 200 points is published by the Ukrainian Evaluation Center ( UCEQ ) only after checking the correctness of the tasks of each test participant and determining the threshold score “passed/failed”.
The table of test scores must be published no later than June 25, 2021. This scale is a rating, as it indicates the place of the result of external independent assessment of the person among the results of other test participants in the history of Ukraine.
When calculating this scale will not take into account the results of test participants who did not pass the threshold test score on the test results. The threshold score is determined by groups of experts who analyze the actual performance of test tasks by test participants and on the basis of this analysis establish the number of test scores that determine the threshold test score in the history of Ukraine. External evaluation participants who do not pass a certain threshold test score will be considered those who did not pass the test.
It is worth noting that the determination of the rating on the tables of translation of test scores of previous years will be inaccurate. The rating score may differ significantly taking into account different levels of tests and different actual test results by test participants. You can see the tables of translation of test scores of previous years by following this link.
HOW THE STA SCORE IS CALCULATED
The result of tasks №1–30 (“History of Ukraine of the XX – beginning of the XXI century”) at the choice of the graduate can be credited as the state final attestation on the history of Ukraine.
The maximum number of points that a participant of the External Evaluation in the History of Ukraine can receive by correctly completing all tasks завдання 1–30, which can be credited as the state final attestation, is equal to 47 test points.
The table of translation of test scores into a score on a scale of 1-12 points is also published after checking the correctness of the tasks of each test participant in the history of Ukraine no later than June 25, 2021.
