As part of the licensed boxing tournament for the Olympic Games in Tokyo, a fight took place with the participation of a representative of Ukraine.

In the quarterfinals of the licensed tournament, our compatriot Anna Lysenko (69 kg) defeated Russian Saadat Dalgatova and won a ticket to Olympic Tokyo.
The first round was followed by the Russian, but from the second Ukrainian Lysenko began to quickly make up for a lost time, and the verdict of the judges after all three rounds, the audience waited, holding their breath. As a result, three judges gave the victory to the Ukrainians, two – to the Russians. Reaching the semifinals, as well as a license for the Olympic Games in Tokyo – in the assets of the 29-year-old from Kyiv.
Anna Lysenko has so far become the third athlete from Ukraine to secure participation in the main competitions of the four-year period.
Mykola Butsenko became the first holder of the license in London last year, and Yaroslav Khartsyz won another ticket to Japan at the beginning of the tournament in Paris.
