Showman, public and political figure Serhiy Prytula announced that he is leaving the Voice party. He wrote about it on the page on Facebook.

I don’t know how the history of the party would have turned out if the founder hadn’t left it last year (Sviatoslav Vakarchuk – ed.). However, as of today, June 7, 2021, I am announcing my withdrawal from the Voice party. I emphasize that I am not leaving politics. I am leaving the party, which, not least thanks to the actions of the new leadership, has moved so far away from our initial principles that it is possible to state the point of no return, “Prytula said.
In this context, Prytula noted that the absence of any reactions of the party leadership to the “dirty” voting of its deputies at any level means not only tolerance but also the approval of such behavior.
“… in the future, I will choose satellites along the thorny paths of Ukrainian politics more carefully. I will definitely announce my next plans in the political sphere on my official resources,” he said.
Last year, on June 26, at an extraordinary congress of the Voice party, delegates decided to terminate the parliamentary powers of the musician and party leader Sviatoslav Vakarchuk, who led it to parliament in 2019.
Before that, Vakarchuk himself applied to leave the Voice faction. After all, the Verkhovna Rada did not agree to Sviatoslav Vakarchuk from the “Voice” to resign as a People’s Deputy.
Vakarchuk twice already refused a deputy mandate.
After he left the political force, rumors began to circulate that the faction of the same name in the Rada had split into two camps, part of which was dissatisfied with the policies of the party leadership and the faction.
