Ukraine topped the ranking of the tourist search engine as the most accessible country for car travel.

It is noted that the study analyzed 31 European countries in six categories: weather, safety, and infrastructure, prices, traffic and the environment, car rental, nature, and attractions.
The ranking was based on 17 different factors.
Yes, Ukraine took first place in the ranking of countries with the most affordable prices. It turned out that prices for fuel, housing, and parking are affordable in Ukraine.
In this category, Ukraine is followed by Lithuania, Russia, Poland, and Romania. At the same time, Ukraine has the highest road congestion rate – 44%.
The lowest figure is in Portugal and Slovenia – 17%. Also in Ukraine, the lowest road quality indicator is 2.4, while Switzerland has 6.3 (where 1 is low road quality and 7 is high).
In general, the best country for a car trip in Europe was Portugal, which received high marks for the quality of roads, the attractiveness of nature and the number of attractions, as well as car rental prices and almost no traffic jams.
The second was Spain. And the third place went to Luxembourg due to its amazing nature and attractions. There are also reasonable prices for car rental, accommodation, and fuel, free roads.
Where Ukrainians rest
As of May 31, 2021, more than half of Ukrainians (53.1%) planned to spend their next vacation in Ukraine.
This was discussed in the study of the tourism market “Electoral sentiment. Weekly report”, presented at a press conference with the participation of Minister of Culture and Information Policy Alexander Tkachenko.
