“Note that we have been living without an IMF loan for a month now. And the government is coping. And I already have an optimistic thought – and maybe we can do it in the future? We cannot constantly look at the IMF as the truth of last resort. We can work to ensure that there are loans and recommendations are implemented, and most importantly, that people are comfortable with such loans and recommendations, ”she said.
Vereshchuk praised the government’s actions to stabilize the hryvnia.
“I think it’s because of the work of the government. And of course, the market, which is recovering, is fueled.
Moreover, I hope that the government’s monetary and fiscal policy will not be burdensome for Ukrainians. Because I know that there is still a problem with private individuals, there is still a problem of fiscalization, ”the people’s deputy added.
The Cabinet of Ministers forecasts an exchange rate of UAH 28-29 per dollar in the next three years.
