The first G7 face-to-face summit since the beginning of the pandemic starts today at the Carbis Bay Resort in Cornwall, UK.

The summit will last from June 11 to 13. It will be attended by the United States, Japan, Germany, Great Britain, France, Italy, and Canada. G7 leaders will discuss the COVID-19 pandemic, economic recovery, and climate change.
The leaders of the Group of Seven are due to announce the launch of a campaign to supply 1 billion doses of COVID-19 vaccine to poorer countries next year during a summit in the UK.
The European Union will also support the US proposal to conduct an independent investigation into the origin of the coronavirus pandemic, which requires investigators to have full access to all documents and areas of source infection in China.
Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom will hold an official reception for the leaders of the Group of Seven (G7).
