Work on the Podilsko-Voskresensky bridge continues: the arches of the arch structure of the bridge are fully tensioned, and the dismantling of temporary supports begins.

The leader of UDAR, the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko, announced this on his Facebook page after the inspection and released the video.
“I want to emphasize that this is not just a bridge across the Dnieper, but a complex of bridges, flyovers, and tunnels that connect Podil and Voskresensky massif. We are already at the final stage of construction. In particular, they built: a flyover on the Rybalsky Peninsula, an exit from the Podilsky Bridge Crossing to Naberezhno-Rybalska, a bridge across the Dnieper, a flyover on Trukhanov Island, a bridge across the Desenka, a flyover in the Gorbachykha tract, an entrance to the Podilsky Bridge Crossing from Naberezhna-Khrybecha. The arches of the arch structure of the bridge are also already fully stretched. And they are starting the process of dismantling the lower temporary supports, “Vitali Klitschko stressed.
He noted that work is also underway towards the Hem – Upper and Lower shafts. The construction of subway tunnels and embankments for metro and road structures on the territory of Rusanivsky Gardens is also underway. According to him, during the construction works, specialists use the latest technologies, materials that have proven themselves at similar sites in many countries around the world.
“We are doing everything to open a bus service across the Podilsko-Voskresensky bridge at the end of this year. The next stage is the metro to Troieschyna. And, as I said, work on its construction has begun, “Vitali Klitschko stressed.
