Eight Ukrainian universities are included in the list of educational institutions represented in the QS World University Rankings 2022.

The results of this year’s study, conducted by the British agency QS Quacquarelli Symonds, are published on the ranking site.
The highest position among Ukrainian universities is occupied by Kharkiv National University. Karazin (511-520 place in the world ranking). Last year, this institution was ranked 477 in the world.
On the second step with the position 601-650 – Kyiv National University. Shevchenko. This institution has maintained its position in the world rankings since last year.
The third among higher education institutions of Ukraine, maintaining the position of 651-700, is NTU “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”.
The next step is shared by NTU “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. Sikorsky ” and Sumy State University. Both this year and last year, these institutions are ranked 701-750 in the QS World University Rankings.
In sixth place (801-1000 positions) – NU “Lviv Polytechnic” . This university last year had the same position in the world rankings.
The seventh and eighth steps (1001-1200 positions) were shared by Lviv National University. Franko (first represented in QS World University Rankings) and NU “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” (in 2021 had a position of 1001+).
QS World University Rankings have been compiled for over 15 years. He is considered one of the most authoritative in the world, along with the Shanghai Academic Ranking of World Universities, American US News, and other British rankings from Times Higher Education.
