This was stated by Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in a statement posted on the State Department’s website.
Where Blinkin delivered his speech in the context of congratulating Russia’s Day.
“I take this opportunity to reaffirm the desire of the United States to engage constructively with the Government of the Russian Federation to promote more stable and predictable bilateral relations,” the Secretary of State said.
He also called on Russia to “work with the international community and to cooperate peacefully on issues of global concern.”
