The mechanism of selection of candidates for the positions of heads of the capital’s communal schools will henceforth provide for participation in the competition commission of local deputies.

I reported about it Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Valentyn Mondryivskyi, commenting on the adoption of the new Regulations on the competition for the position of principals of Kyiv schools.
He noted that 100 deputies of the Kyiv City Council voted in favor of the decision.
According to the official, the amendments to the Regulations on the competition are caused by the need to make the mechanism for selecting directors transparent.
“We are making changes to these decisions to make the mechanism for selecting candidates for these positions as transparent as possible,” Mondriyivsky said.
From now on, the mechanism for selecting candidates for the positions of heads of public schools will provide for participation in the competition commission of representatives of the deputy corps by one person from each faction.
“Making this important decision for educators will allow schools to effectively prepare for the new school year. After all, this process falls on the shoulders of directors. At the moment, we have a task to appoint as soon as possibly more than a hundred heads of schools whose contracts expire on July 1, ”the deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration emphasized.
