The central defender of Shakhtar and the national team of Ukraine Mykola Matvienko has entered the sphere of interests of the Italian Napoli.

Neapolitans are considering three options to strengthen their roster, including Matvienko. In addition to the Ukrainian, Napoli is considering the possibility of strengthening Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri and midfielder Theun Copmainers from AZ Alkmaar.
The 25-year-old Matvienko played 29 matches in all tournaments for Shakhtar last season, scoring one goal and making three assists.
