The woman admitted that she forgot the ticket later… She said maybe I transferred it from one wallet to another and left it there.

Both women were very interested in whether it was still in force and whether it would be accepted into the New England Aquarium for many years.
Granddaughter says I didn’t think it would work. I don’t want to argue about this ticket, but for Aunt Keith’s sake, I was willing to persevere.
After the quarantine restrictions were eased and the public aquarium opened, Rachel decided to try her luck and visit the aquarium. Surprisingly, the ticket was accepted without any problems and the girl was able to enjoy the tour in peace!
So the girl used her grandmother’s ticket that she had bought in 1938 / Photo Boston Globe Although the ticket was old and worn out, treasurer Jenny Coppola saw there was no expiration date, so she accepted it.
Jenny says I’ve never seen any of these old ‘future‘ tickets before. I heard about them, but I was very surprised to see this thing with my own eyes.
The chief executive of the New England Aquarium, Vicki Spruell, said they hadn’t produced such tickets in about 25 years, so it’s a real find.
But about once a year, Vicky admits, people come to them on a tour who want to use such a ticket with unlimited validity: “We respect every valid entry ticket, and it was one of them. Forty years is too long for tickets, and we’re so glad she’s kept that.
