In Ukraine, 2.226 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase of 24,000 per day on June 15, which is at the level of the previous day. Significantly more people were hospitalized per day than the day before – 699 people. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

In Ukraine, 1,045 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in a day. Among them are 46 children and 23 medical workers. Also, 4,802 patients recovered and 78 died from complications. 699 people were hospitalized with a suspected or confirmed diagnosis.
Most new cases were found in Kyiv (256), Kyiv (75), Kharkiv (64), Dnipropetrovsk (55), and Kherson (53) oblasts.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk oblasts, and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have recorded 2,226,037 cases of coronavirus infection. Of these, 51,847 people died from complications of the disease, and 2,140,978 recovered. 33,212 Ukrainians remain, active patients – 3,835 less than the day before.
It should be noted that the Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko stated that such waves of coronavirus as in the spring and autumn of 2020 are no longer forecast in Ukraine.
Coronavirus test in Ukraine:
Laboratories performed 58,853 tests for coronavirus: by PCR – 28,321, by ELISA – 9,718. Also performed 20,814 rapid tests for the antigen to the virus.
In total, more than 10.5 million PCR tests were conducted in the country.
Vaccination against coronavirus in Ukraine
62 591 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 per day. 35,462 people received one dose, 27,129 people were fully immunized.
During the day, 515 mobile teams and 908 vaccination points worked.
As of June 15, 2021, 692,404 people signed up for the COVID-19 vaccination waiting list.
