Acting US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Reeker will meet with Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova today. This is stated on the website of the US State Department.

The meeting will take place at 19:00 local time (June 17 02:00 Kyiv time) in Washington. The meeting with Markarova will be held behind closed doors.
The meeting of the Presidents of the Russian Federation and the United States will take place on June 16 in Switzerland at the Geneva Villa La Grange. This will be Vladimir Putin’s first meeting with Joe Biden since the latter was elected US president. Prior to that, politicians met once in 2011 in Moscow: then Putin was prime minister of the Russian Federation, and Biden – vice president of the United States. Talks between US President Joe Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Geneva will last about 4-5 hours, after which each of the leaders will hold a press conference.
The Russian and US delegations to the Geneva summit will include hundreds of people – a total of about 800 people.
