President Volodymyr Zelensky came to pay his last respects to the famous choreographer Hryhoriy Chapkis.

Zelensky attended a public farewell ceremony with Hryhoriy Chapkis, which is taking place at the National Philharmonic of Ukraine.
Hryhoriy Chapkis is a Ukrainian dancer and choreographer, winner of three international competitions, People’s Artist of Ukraine, judge of the TV project “Dancing with the Stars“, head of the “Chapkis Dance School”. He was married four times. The fourth wife, 51 years younger than Chapkis, is the same age as his granddaughter Hanna Safronchik.
It should be noted that 90-year-old Hryhoriy Chapkis started having health problems in December: he was diagnosed with pneumonia. He spent a month in the hospital and was discharged. According to the choreographer, the coronavirus test was negative. On New Year’s Eve, Chapkis was discharged from the hospital because he felt better.
