In Ukraine, 2.229 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day on June 18 – less than a thousand, a decrease compared to the day before. 571 people were hospitalized per day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

As of the morning of June 19, another 852 cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Ukraine. Among the confirmed patients are 23 children and 41 physicians.
On June 18, 571 people were hospitalized with complications, while 2,736 patients recovered. 40 deaths were registered per day.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2,229 44 people have fallen ill with COVID-19: 2,150,708 have recovered and 51,992 have died.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (202), Kharkiv (63), Lviv (61), Dnipropetrovsk (44), and Mykolaiv (44) oblasts.
According to Worldometers, Ukraine ranks 49th in the world – between Panama and Germany. Ukraine is seventh among European countries.
8 523 people in the world died in a day. According to this indicator, Ukraine ranks 27th in the world and fourth in Europe.
Recently, the number of new cases of coronavirus in Ukraine has significantly decreased, which is why the government has eased quarantine restrictions – a “green zone” has now been established in all regions.
However, experts say that a new wave of the virus may soon spread to Ukraine – this time the “Indian” strain, which is many times more contagious and aggressive towards humans. The National Academy of Sciences believes that a dangerous version of COVID-19 may come from Russia via Donbas.
