United Russia Secretary-General Andrei Turchak and Russian President Vladimir Putin presented the federal part of the list for the upcoming State Duma elections.

The list includes:
– the head of the Ministry of Defense of Russia Sergey Shoigu,
– Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov,
– Chief Physician of the hospital in Kommunarka Denis Protsenko,
– co-chair of the All-Russian People’s Front Olena Shmelyova,
– Children’s Ombudsman of the Russian Federation Anna Kuznetsova.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed to include these candidates in the federal part of the list.
The United Russia electoral list group in Moscow will be headed by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, in the Moscow region by Andrei Vorobyov, in St. Petersburg by Hermitage director Mikhail Piotrovsky, in the Far East by Yuri Trutnev, and in the Saratov region by State Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin.
On June 17, the President of Russia signed a decree calling the election of deputies to the State Duma of the eighth convocation on September 19, 2021. 450 deputies will be elected to the new convocation: 225 – by single-member constituencies, the rest – by party lists.
Earlier, UNN reported that the pro-Kremlin party will lead to the election of militants who fought against Ukraine.
