Three people were injured in an explosion at the Sloboda military enterprise near the town of Cacak. A fire broke out on the spot, which was later extinguished. This was reported on Saturday by Serbian national television with reference to the director of the city hospital.

According to him, three employees of the enterprise were hospitalized. The mayor of Chachak Milun Todorovych ordered to carry out the urgent evacuation of the population from the areas adjacent to the enterprise. The city stadium was designated as a gathering place for evacuees.
Ambulances are on duty in the factory building, the police environment is on display.
The explosion on the territory of the factory occurred at about 19:50 local time (20:50 Kyiv time). Locals post on social media photos of a huge column of smoke rising above the city.
After midnight, the Minister of Defense of the Republic Neboysha Stefanovych arrived at the scene. He listened to reports from rescuers and police, refraining from statements to the press.
Subsequently, the fire from the explosion was extinguished, said the deputy mayor of Cacak Myroslav Petrovich.
“The fire was first contained and then extinguished by firefighters, emergency services, and fire brigades of Sloboda. At the moment there are no signs that something else will happen, but we have taken all necessary measures,” he said.
This is the second such incident since the beginning of June at this enterprise. On June 4, Serbian Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin reported explosions and fires at the Sloboda warehouse in Cacak. The warehouse burned for several days. The possibility of evacuation of all city residents was considered, but in the end, it was not necessary.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic later said the damage from the fire ranged from 1.5m to 2m euros, with no casualties.
