How Difficult It Is to Work on Collecting Cherries in Melitopol

But it all depends on the speed, volume, and quality of the berry. If you have to sort through it, then it is doubly more difficult. The harvest this year was badly spoiled by the rains, plus when it is stuffy and hot all day, and by the end of the day, a person picking berries is already simply exhausted.

So, residents of Melitopol shared a video on social networks where after a hard day the worker was “baked” and lay on the ground next to the buckets. Why the author chose to shoot a video and not help or offer water remains a mystery. In the comments to the post, local residents said that this is not uncommon.

According to the city dweller, only yesterday she helped the same tired woman. People also remembered how much they paid for picking cherries in different years. And the price was per kg – 50 kopecks, UAH 1.50, UAH 3. Although then, with a different dollar exchange rate, according to the townspeople, it was possible to earn decent money.
