A light aircraft crashing in the forest crashed in the Arkhangelsk region of the Russian Federation. The pilot and the pilot-observer survived.

The night before, the plane stopped communicating. A Mi-8 helicopter was sent in search of him, the crew of which declared an accident. Rescuers found the plane, pilot and passenger taken on board a Mi-8 helicopter and taken to the city of Kotlas.
Both crew members survived, despite the fact that the board caught fire after the fall and burned. They were sent to the hospital.
The Mi-8 helicopter also crashed that day in the Gatchina district of the Leningrad region, killing three people. The helicopter belongs to the Rosguard.
