According to the local newspaper ” Dumskaya “, four flights were forced to look for another place to land due to a thunderstorm and a downpour.
In particular, we are talking about aircraft of SkyUp (from Greek Heraklion), UIA (from Ostend, Belgium), Ryanair (from Wroclaw), and Turkish Airlines (from Istanbul). SkyUp, UIA, and Turkish Airlines landed in Chisinau, Ryanair – in Constanta.
At the same time, UIA managed to board a UIA from Boryspil and a charter flight from Colombo (Sri Lanka).
Bad weather in the Odesa region
During the day, in the evening, and at night the city and some parts of the region were covered by a strong thunderstorm with a gust of wind and rain, hail was observed in some places. The weather left many settlements without electricity and a water supply.
