Telegram has grown with the long-promised group calls. Up to three dozen users can participate in one such session at a time, the developers note.

The testing of the corresponding option became known at the end of last year. It took the developers more than six months to complete the function. The regulars of the messenger who have joined the option have no complaints about the quality of the connection.
From now on, any chat can be turned into a video conference with just one single click (you need to click on the video camera image). The broadcast will then expand to fill the entire display. As noted above, up to 30 subscribers can take part in such a conference, each of whom will be able to broadcast to the communication partners images of the screen of their device and images from the rear and front cameras of the smartphone.
Participants are provided with various animation effects and sticker sets, a personal key for activating the menu in bots, importing emojis, etc. The option is available for tablets and PCs.
The developers are planning to increase the number of participants from 30 to an unlimited number of people.
