We think that dumplings with raw potatoes are quite suitable. After all, potatoes are a source of vitamin C, which supports our immunity, the macronutrient potassium, which removes excess fluid from the body, and, of course, starch, which lowers cholesterol in our body. And they are not fried, but boiled, and this in itself speaks for itself.
Such dumplings will be appropriate for fasting.
Everything is solved – today we make dumplings with raw potatoes for lunch. So…
Ingredients:
Dough:
egg – 1 piece;
water – 1 glass;
salt – 1 tsp .;
vegetable oil – 2 tbsp. l .;
flour.
Filling:
potatoes – 6 pieces;
bulb – 1 piece;
butter – 100 g.
How to cook dumplings with raw potatoes:
Prepare the dough first. To do this, beat the egg lightly, add vegetable oil, add a small amount of flour, mix. Pour a glass of water. Salt the mixture. Now add just enough flour to make the dough a little steep, like a dumpling.
From the dough made a gingerbread man and put it aside.
At this time we are preparing potato filling for our dumplings.
Grate the potatoes finely on a grater or cut them into very small pieces, add salt. When the juice starts, discard it on a sieve to drain the liquid. It is desirable to grind onions as finely as potatoes.
Squeeze the potatoes in your hands again to remove excess liquid. Now mix the mashed potatoes with the butter. Grate and mix with onions. Lightly season with bitter pepper.
We form dumplings.

Cook in salted water for about 10 minutes.
