This year, 9 private higher education institutions will be able to accept applicants for public procurement.

This was announced during a press conference by Minister of Education and Science Serhiy Shkarlet.
According to the Minister, private universities will be able to receive a state order if entrants express a desire to study there at the expense of the budget.
“On June 15, changes to the Terms of Admission in 2021 came into force, according to which privately owned institutions can receive a state order for training if entrants choose them. … To date, 9 private institutions have registered as possible recipients of public procurement places. This is one of the points of the President’s program on equality of all forms of ownership in education. We hope that this experience will be positive, “said Scarlett.
