This suggests that Huawei has not abandoned the development of the Android-based EMUI system. Perhaps the company to the last gives up the hope that one day the American sanctions will be lifted and it will again be able to use Google applications and services to which millions of Huawei users are very accustomed.
It is also suggested that the description of the Huawei PC Manager application simply made a mistake and instead of EMUI 11, EMUI 12 is indicated. True, this error was made in several places at once, but this happens when using a combination of “copy” and “paste” commands.
Also keep in mind that Huawei has already renamed its Weibo and WeChat social media EMUI accounts to HarmonyOS, confirming its final intentions to fully migrate to its own operating system.
At the moment, Huawei is actively distributing the final version of HarmonyOS 2.0 and testing the operating system on a large number of devices. The company plans to upgrade 360 million devices by the end of the year.
