Sales of new cars in Ukraine in January-June, compared to the same period in 2020, increased by 30% – up to 48.4 thousand units.

This was reported by the press service of the Association of Automobile Manufacturers of Ukraine “Ukravtoprom”.
It is noted that in June, in annual terms, sales of new cars increased by 21% – to 8.8 thousand.
“Besides, it is almost 36% more than the June result until 2019,” Ukravtoprom stressed.
The most popular brand on the market of new cars in June was Toyota. In June, 1,296 cars of this Japanese brand joined the Ukrainian fleet. In June 2020, the brand improved its result by almost a quarter.
The second most popular brand was Renault with the result of 986 registered cars. In June 2020, the brand deteriorated by 15%.
Third place in the ranking of brands in KIA, which improved its last year’s figure by 10% – up to 742 cars.
In fourth place, Skoda – 609 new cars of this brand joined the Ukrainian fleet, which is 27% more than a year earlier.
Closes the top five Hyundai with a result of 441 cars, which is 11% more than a year earlier.
Also in the TOP-10 of the May market included: Nissan, Volkswagen, Peugeot, Chery, Mitsubishi.
The bestseller of May on the Ukrainian market of new cars was the Toyota RAV-4, which was chosen by 547 buyers.

Sales of new cars in Ukraine in 2020 decreased compared to 2019 by 3% – to 85.5 thousand units.
The most popular brand on the market of new cars in 2020 was Renault.
