Now WhatsApp automatically compresses videos when sending. You can, of course, send a video file as a document, then you can keep the original quality.
However, soon everything will be more convenient. A new option has appeared in the beta version of WhatsApp 2.21.14.6 for Android. The user can choose three options when sending the video: “Auto” (recommended), “Best Quality”, and “Data Savings”.
It is unclear when the new feature will be available to all WhatsApp users.
