The State Education Quality Service and its territorial bodies are a source of objective information on certain trends, situations in the field of education, institutions, and local authorities.

This was stated by the Ministry of Education and Science following a meeting between Minister Serhiy Shkarlet and the leadership of the State Service for Education Quality, during which the main strategic tasks of the service in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science were discussed.
“Given that the decentralization process is underway and territorial communities have been created, the State Education Quality Service is a safeguard against violations of norms and standards that underlie the educational process,” said Education Minister Serhiy Shkarlet.
The Ministry of Education also stated that the State Education Quality Service and its territorial bodies should ensure the quality of education and educational activities at the local level and influence decisions that are important for all participants in the educational process, as well as support educational institutions, local education authorities and implement the functions of state supervision.
As you know, the State Education Quality Service and its territorial bodies will now be able to conduct unscheduled inspections of schools.
