In Ukraine, 2.237 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day on July 4 – more than 240, the traditional decline over the weekend. 333 people were hospitalized per day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Last day, 244 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in Ukraine, including 5 children. No cases of the disease were registered among medical workers. Yesterday, 333 people were hospitalized with coronavirus disease, 14 people died and 419 people recovered.
The largest number of confirmed cases was registered yesterday in Kyiv (101), Zhytomyr (17), Odesa (16), Kyiv (15), and Vinnytsia (11) oblasts.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk oblasts, and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine, 2 million 237 thousand 823 people fell ill with COVID-19; 2 million 171 thousand 601 people recovered, 52 thousand 484 died. Today, 13,738 people remain active patients, which is 189 fewer than in the previous day.
According to Worldometers, Ukraine ranks 67th in the world between Denmark and Israel. In Europe, Ukraine is 12th. According to the daily number of deaths, Ukraine ranks 5th in Europe and 50th in the world.
Coronavirus test in Ukraine
Laboratories performed 17,351 tests for coronavirus: by PCR – 9,889, by ELISA – 1,712. Also performed 5,750 rapid tests for the antigen to the virus.
In total, more than 10.9 million PCR tests were conducted in the country.
Coronavirus vaccination: what is known
24,363 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 on July 4, 2021. 15,260 people received one dose, 9,103 people were fully immunized.
