In Ukraine, there have already been 2.238 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19, an increase over the day, July 5 – more than 540, which is twice as much as the day before. Less than 266 people were hospitalized per day, the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Over the past 24hrs, another 541 cases of coronavirus have been detected in Ukraine. Among the infected are 26 children and 11 health workers. Also, 266 patients were hospitalized, 1,086 recovered, and 20 died from complications.
Since June 18, less than a thousand infected people have been registered in Ukraine every day.
Most new cases were found in Kyiv (197), Odesa (52), Kyiv (37), Luhansk (25), and Dnipropetrovsk (24) oblasts.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk oblasts, and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have recorded more than 2.2 million cases of coronavirus infection. Of these, more than 52,000 people died from complications of the disease, and more than 2.1 million – recovered.
According to the Worldometer website, as of the morning of Tuesday, July 6, there were more than 184.9 million cases of coronavirus infection in the world. Ukraine ranks 17th in general statistics.
At the same time, the WHO said that the situation with the spread of coronavirus in the world has stabilized “at a very high level. ” The situation is better than a few months ago.
Coronavirus test in Ukraine
Laboratories performed 40,517 tests for coronavirus: by PCR – 20,151, by ELISA – 8,271. Also performed 12,095 rapid tests for the antigen to the virus.
In total, almost 11 million PCR tests were conducted in the country.
