The program was presented in cooperation with Generation 2030, a French-Saudi friendship association established in 2019 that connects young French and Saudi creative talents.
Girls Who Burn the Night tells the story of two Saudi sisters who strive for greater independence when an act of harmless rebellion sparks tension and ultimately understanding between the couple.
Meanwhile, “40 Years and One Night” explores a family, an accident, and a night of secrets that will change everything.
“Going South” chronicles the tensions between a newly married couple, and in an “unceasing lullaby,” the director writes the daily life of a woman followed by a relentless inner soliloquy when all her fears and doubts come to light.
And finally, “And when do I sleep?” The viewer is immersed in a complex imaginary world in which the hero hears a voice in the middle of the night.
