British rock musician, former vocalist of the cult band Uriah Heep John Lawton has died at the age of 75.

It is alleged that the musician, contrary to rumors, did not suffer from serious illness and died peacefully, next to his wife.
John Lawton was the frontman of Uriah Heep in 1976-1979 – the peak of the band’s popularity. He recorded albums with Firefly, Innocent Victim, Fallen Angel, and Live in Europe ’79. At the beginning of the zeros took part in the reunion of the group.
In addition to Uriah, Heep Lawton is known for his solo work and the group Lucifer’s Friend. He has collaborated with famous musicians such as Roger Glover, David Coverdale, Glenn Hughes, Ian Gillan, Paul Jones, Tony Ashton.
