This year’s Cannes Film Festival will run from 6 to 17 July. The Cannes International Film Festival is an annual film festival held regularly since 1946 in the resort town of Cannes. Since 1952, this event is held annually in May. However, last year the 73rd Cannes Film Festival did not take place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Initially, it was moved from May to July, and later the organizers of the event refused to hold the film festival in its original format. At the same time, they presented a list of 56 films that they thought were worthy of attention.
These films were later screened at the autumn film festivals in Toronto, San Sebastian, Angouleme, Venice, New York, Deauville, Busan, and Lyon.
