In Ukraine, 2.24 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day on July 8 – more than 600, which is at the level of the previous day. 396 people were hospitalized per day, which is also at the level of the previous day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Over the past 24hrs, 655 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus have been registered in Ukraine, including 31 children and 37 health workers.
According to the website of the Ministry of Health, 396 people were hospitalized, 12 fatalities were recorded, and 885 people recovered.
Since June 18, less than a thousand infected people have been registered in Ukraine every day.
The largest number of new cases was registered in Kyiv (220), Dnipropetrovsk (88), Odesa (78), and Cherkasy (64) oblasts.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk oblasts, and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
During the whole time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2 million 240 thousand 246 people fell ill with COVID-19, 2 million 176 thousand 110 recovered, and 52 thousand 572 died.
Coronavirus test in Ukraine
Laboratories performed more than 41,000 tests for coronavirus: by PCR – 18,341, by ELISA – 7,954. Also performed 15,312 rapid tests for the antigen to the virus.
In total, almost 11 million PCR tests were conducted in the country.
