In the quarterfinals of the WTA-250 competition in Hamburg, she defeated the resistance of the experienced Italian Sarah Errani – 7: 6 (7: 4), 6: 4.
In the first set, Odesa lost 1: 4, Errani served 5: 3, but Diana coped with all the challenges and won the tie-break – 7: 6 (7: 4).
It is noteworthy that during her career Errani has won the Grand Slam tournaments five times in doubles.
In the semifinals of the competition Yastremskaya will compete with Romanian Gabriela Ruse (198th), who beat American Danielle Rose Collins (48th) – 6: 4, 1: 6, 7: 5.
