This year, Kherson farmers for the first time tried to grow new varieties of melons, namely Misura F1, Portento F1, and Bravura F1.

“We are planting new hybrid varieties of melons. They are precocious, the ripening period is about 75-85 days, resistant to various pests, well transported, and have a long shelf life after harvest without loss of marketability, “said farmer Oksana Popyk.
She hopes that the new varieties will provide higher incomes and will be in demand among the population.
“We plan to check the quality of the new melon harvest and its consumer attractiveness at the resorts of our native Kherson region. If Ukrainian vacationers approve of our new products, next year we will increase the area for these varieties, “said the farmer.
