It is noted that the details of the conversation will be told by the President on Tuesday, July 13, during a conversation with the media at the All-Ukrainian Forum “Ukraine 30”.
Volodymyr Zelensky met with the German Chancellor candidate, Prime Minister of the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia, President of the Christian Democratic Union Armin Laschet, where he discussed the Russian-Ukrainian armed conflict and Nord Stream-2. The President of Ukraine stressed that its commissioning poses a direct threat to the energy security of the EU.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that during his working visit to Germany on July 12 he intends to discuss with German Chancellor Angela Merkel the issue of energy security in the context of the construction of the Nord Stream-2 main gas pipeline.
