The shooting killed 11 people in Chicago over the weekend. Among those killed was rapper KTS Dre, who was pierced by 54 bullets shortly after he was released from prison.

A police report said the 31-year-old local rapper, whose real name was Londre Sylvester, had been released from prison under electronic surveillance. He was accused of possessing weapons and resisting police. However, he was shot dead by 64 bullets near the prison.
An unknown number of suspects jumped into separate cars and fled in different directions, police said. A 60-year-old woman who was walking with Sylvester at the time of the attack was shot in the knee and transported to a hospital.
At one of the gas stations, unknown individuals opened fire from a dark-colored car, killing two men, aged 33 and 20. A total of 11 people were killed in various shootings in the city.
At least four people were killed and four others were hospitalized after a shooting at an apartment building on the south side of Chicago.
