Virgin Galactic has received about 600 applications from those wishing to fly into space after its owner, British billionaire Richard Branson, flew beyond Earth’s gravity and successfully returned to earth.

Branson’s flight into space:
On July 11, Virgin Galactic’s first tourist suborbital flight reached the space border and successfully landed at the America Cosmodrome in New Mexico, USA.
Onboard were 70-year-old British billionaire and Virgin Galactic owner Richard Branson, two pilots – Dave McKay and Michael Masucci, astronauts Sirish Bundle, Killeen Bennett, and Bette Moses.
“The next generation of dreamers: if we could do it, I can’t even imagine you could,” Branson said during the flight.
Virgin Galactic was founded in 2004. Its goal is to establish tourist suborbital space flights and launches of small artificial satellites.
