Tesla CEO Elon Musk said he was not satisfied with the CEO’s work and would prefer to design and develop rather than run a corporation.

Musk said this at a court hearing on the purchase of Tesla from SolarCity for $ 2.6 billion, according to the BBC.

The lawsuit against Ilona Mask

A number of Tesla shareholders have filed a lawsuit against him. Mask was accused of forcing the company’s board of directors to approve the purchase of SolarCity because the company was founded by his cousins.

The plaintiffs believe that Tesla spent the purchase in vain because the acquisition of SolarCity was not economically feasible.

In 2020, Tesla for the first time activated cameras in salons by updating the firmware. Car owners were then asked to allow photos and videos to be taken to “develop safety features and improvements in the future.”

In March, Elon Musk announced that Tesla had excluded several beta testers from the program that “did not pay enough attention.”

The camera tracking feature in Tesla cars appeared after the April fatal crash involving the Tesla Model S in Texas, which provoked another wave of criticism of the manufacturer for poor protection against fools, and the increased publication of videos from “drivers” that move in the back seat in Tesla with autopilot on.

The day before, Tesla announced a change in its autopilot development strategy – the company will gradually abandon radars altogether and move to a new version of autopilot that uses only cameras for navigation.

On May 30, 2021, it was reported that Tesla began using the Model 3 and Model Y’s built-in rear-view mirror camera to monitor the driver’s attention while Autopilot is active.
