The ASEAN countries have signed the world’s largest free trade agreement, or a document on a comprehensive regional economic partnership.

According to the publication, the agreement was signed as part of a teleconference held at the summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations in Hanoi, chaired by Vietnam.
The Association of Southeast Asian Nations is a political, economic, and cultural regional intergovernmental organization of 10 countries located in Southeast Asia.
This agreement forms a trade union, which accounts for a third of world GDP.
According to the final statement, the agreement provides for the liberalization of trade in the region, which “will contribute to its economic prosperity.”
